Wearing Green or Just Colored Green

When it comes to endorsing eco-friendly clothing and fabrics, there is a big distinction on whether it is really eco-friendly or not. When you say wearing green, you can either look at it as a green themed apparel or something that is really made from something green like due consideration for raw materials used and the manner to which it was created.

There are a lot of factors to categorize a shirt or pants from being green. Materials is one and the manner of producing the said product as well. With all of these in tow, we should be aware that endorsing green also means understanding it logically and not only in sound mind.

Yes, “green lingerie” is here, but should the retailer emblazon the item with a “carbon free” label and expect consumers to fully understand and accurately evaluate – let alone be receptive to – purchasing such a product?
