Green is The New Black Tee
Guess where i found this gem of a tee? Well, i was perusing the Sunday paper last nite (yes, last nite) and on the front cover of the weekly ad insert for JC Penney, was this super cute and earth-friendly tee.
The short-sleeve (aimed and sized for juniors) tee reads “Green is the New Black” and is made of 100% cotton. JC Penney will donate $1.00 of the purchase of these tees to the World WildLife Fund.
This week the eco-friendly tee is on sale for $11.99, normally it retails for a cool $20.
It is great to see major mainstream shops like JC Penny getting in on the green action, and trying to raise awareness and visibility for the environmental movement with the younger generation.
