Shoes are a delicate matter when it comes to being eco friendly. As there are numerous components that go into producing a shoe, making it difficult for customers to know what the pair of shoes that they are looking at is made from.

However, there are some makers who go out of their way to make sure that the entire shoe is totally eco friendly. This is really hard to do, so in fact there may be a limited amount of chemicals within the makeup of the shoe. These are likely to be less harmful than the commercial chemicals used in mass produced shoes.
