Vapor Apparel of the United States has reportedly launched a new range of fabrics, 100% recycled, over at the EcoPrint show held in Berlin, Germany.
The new fabric is called ECO Spin, a fabric that closely resembles dense cotton. The fabrics are made from reclaimed plastic and some parts of discarded furniture coming from landfills. They are airjet spun fiber that offer several benefits such as rotor and ring spinning for better efficiency and bringing down the production stages.
The company’s trademark technology is called PURE-tech – a permanent moisture wicking technology. This technology helps fabrics regulate temperature and offers long-term wickability meaning the fabric can absorb and evaporate water or perspiration more efficiently and dry quicker.
