The Global Warming Year that Was

Global Warming Wrath

It was indeed a busy year as far as trying to uphold and save lives from the natural disasters that have hit major parts of the world. Many have attributed them to global warming and climate change. Ranging from hurricanes to floods, many people felt the wrath of nature, abused in every which way courting disaster due to the investment and abuse from previous years.

Such occurrence of the global warming dilemma is not really surprising. We have been warned time and again of the potential effects. Led by Al Gore, we are all pretty much aware that the world may soon find itself hanging on a thin line. While we have acknowledged that we are doing more harm due to previous practices, it remains that we can still save some for ourselves and our siblings if we adhere towards principles and practices to combat this global warming issue.

“The number of disasters is increasing and it is connected to climate change but we cannot at this juncture directly link any one incident,” OCHA spokesperson Stephanie Bunker told the Guardian. “More studies will have to be done before that is possible.”
