Here is another eco artistic creation, a Green Roofed Dragon Head Pavilion which was erected over at the entrance of the International Exhibit of Contemporary Art Ostrale in Dresden.
The structure (or the dragon head) made use of advanced techniques normally done for tree houses. The said structure saved over 6 tons of CO2. The whole thing though seems to be just the tip of things to come as a dragon’s body will join the said dragon head by 2014, producing a curving meadow-topped ramp where folks can climb, rest and enjoy the sun streaming into the space in front of the entrance desk.
In 2014, a longer, snaking ‘meadow in the sky’ will take visitors up to the first floor of the exhibition, providing step-free access for all. Once completed, two wooden structures will resemble a crouching green dragon.
