Pulling Back Global Warming Through Green Housing

Many say that green home declarations are just tactics to close sales as far as the real estate and housing industry is concerned. Green standard compliance has been the rant of most demanding home owners today and apparently, people are falling to this trend as a means of securing their green homes.
Green homes have been pegged to slow down the pace at which global warming has been devastating the world. While the efforts are being united to fight global warming, this is what the housing sector can do for now; contribute by providing green compliant homes to put a stop towards the growing dilemma of global warming today.
Simply constructing more energy-efficient buildings—and upgrading the insulation and windows in the existing ones—could save a whopping 1.7 billion tons annually, says a new report from the Montreal-based Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC), an international organization established by Canada, Mexico and the U.S. under the North American Free Trade Agreement to address continent-wide environmental issues.
