Paris is home to lots of abandoned metro stations which may soon get an overhaul or revival of sorts in another form.
Among the transformation plans include rebuilding them as restaurants, auditoriums and swimming pools, a variety of new ideas which should be interesting. And all of them would be built underground? Now those creations are bound to stir up some interest, especially from the tourists don’t you think?
Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizetm is the person at the helm of all this, teaming up with local architects Manal Rachdi and Nicolas Laisne. With the sketches and proposals in place, it would be interesting to find out how they can revive the City of Lights and breathe life back into the abandoned stations.
