Here is another ecofriendly architectural piece for you. The Salorge is said to be an energy-efficient office, drawn up from the traditional architecture of France.
Salorge is composed of two long linear volumes clad in wood which helps shield the space from potential overheating. In turn, the concrete and wood materials used for the said building minimize the need for using energy while at the same time maintaining its modern take.
The project was completed in 2012 and reportedly achieved a BBC label as a low-energy consumption building. Additionally, Salorge was awarded first place in the 2012 World Architecture Festival in the Civic and Community category.
