Everyone dreams of holding certain events like perhaps wedding in a nature-filled place and for the folks over in London, the Ecology Pavilion may just be the perfect spot. This architectural piece can be checked out at Mile End Park, something designed to promote sustainable values and the usual environmental awareness stuff.
The place boasts of energy-efficient and green-roofed buildings capped with a lake that is home to wonders of nature like water lilies and creatures that complement a nature-filled setup. It also has a 6.5 kw wind turbine that sits at the lake’s center island, responsible for the energy needs from the nearby swamp.
The Ecology Pavilion has capacity for 220 guests to enjoy striking views of the nearby flora and fauna framed through wide double-glazed windows. FSC-certified wood was used for the building´s spiky structure, and the windows have wooden external shutters that regulate the sun coming in and help keep heat inside during the night.
