Dry Cleaning Alternative Solutions Using CO2

by Brian Yalung on Saturday, December 27th, 2008

Dry cleaning has been a marquee service that most laundry services used. For one, not all people are educated on how to properly go about dry-cleaning. The chemicals used by traditional dry cleaning has so far gained much criticism, particularly the percloroethylene (aka tetracholorethylene, aka perc).

But owe it to the Blue Sky cleaners for turning to a great alternative, using CO2 as a means of carrying out its dry cleaning services and is bound to get praises from people who are quite wary of the dreaded perc for dry cleaning services.

And because this transformation is cool, not hot, CO2 gets clothes cleaner without the fading, shrinking, pilling or stain-setting common to all other dry cleaning methods. Your clothes come back odorless, soft and newer-looking than before.
