The Honda Red Rider Program is introducing a new environmental initiative to increase awareness and bring attention to green issues. The program which is aimed at young students across America uses athletes to bring the issues of discipline, self-belief, trust, fate, and self-respect in an entertaining and accessible fashion. Added to that list, via the new initiative, is caring for the planet and being more socially responsible.

Honda will plant a tree during each school visit from Red Riders to help promote environmental awareness and responsibility. Phil Reynolds, brand manger for Honda in Australia, states “how the environmental component is very much in line with Honda’s global philosophy” and that “Honda continually works to raise environmental awareness wherever possible, and we believe today’s youth have a growing responsibility in preserving our land and our country”.The program managed by Full Throttle Sports is another progressive and creative attempt at increasing the spotlight on Mother Earth.
