The Eco-Friendly Side of Spa Treatments

Natural Serving Spas

All of us need a break some time and we will most likely find ourselves heading towards the nearest spa for that much sought after relaxation through spa services offered today. While others find them a vice they can live without, there are spa establishments that provide you with the natural way of reviving your senses through the use of treatments such as a Blueberry Manicure which is offered by the Cliff House Resort and Spa.

Most spas use these natural means of providing service as an ally towards their own little way of contributing towards global warming. We see a lot of them around and it would be best if we check out what they have to offer since it is all really for our benefit.

More than 28 percent of spas nationwide use local ingredients, according to a 2007 survey by the International Spa Association, a trade group for the industry. Last year, after seeing the trend take off, the association started tracking how many of the 3,000 spas in its membership use ingredients from local nature in treatments.
