Beer cans into beer jewellery

by David Allen on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Most cans are quite nice to look at, they are brightly coloured and have some interesting designs on the outside too, so making them into a piece of jewellery would be a sensible move. This is why it is no surprise to find these Beer Can Cuffs from Elsewares.

The metal on the tin is very thin and would bend and dent very easily, but these cuffs have an addition of 100% sterling silver which will give it some strength and finish it off very nicely. Priced at $120.

  • These bracelets are made with a generous dose of 100% sterling silver and real beer or soda cans (personally emptied by Dana Roth or a close friend). The aluminum is secured to the bracelet with sterling rivets and protected from damage by silver end-caps. 1 1/4" width.
  • Very cool. I've seen tons of jewelry made with recycled beer materials, from cans to bottle caps.

  • What a neat idea, they look great. Nice job. :0)
