Hong Kong’s Human Powered Gym
The California Fitness Center in Hong uses manpower to generate electricity for its gym.
They’ve hooked up their exercise equipment to a machine that converts the energy exerted from the people working out into electricity to run the machines! All the surplus energy is stored in a battery for low productivity times, making this gym completely self sufficient and carbon emission free!
