Mayors’ Climate Protection Awards
Mayors from across the United States are being rewarded for their green initiatives. The Mayors’ Climate Protection Awards, awarded by the United Conference of Mayors and Wal-Mart, recognize mayors who are active in promoting sustainability and energy efficiency and combating climate change.
The winning mayors get funds for more green projects and lots of other great green stuff. The winners will be announced in Los Angeles on June 26th!
