NBC To Broadcast LiveEarth!
NBC just won the rights to broadcast Live Earth, the concert-for-the-planet extravaganza that will be held on July 7th.
NBC will air 22 hours of coverage, interspersing live segments with prerecorded ones, in order to maximize exposure to the concert and get the biggest names involves some air time.
There are over 100 artists involved in the 9 concerts planned, including Kelly Clarkson, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, The Police, Akon, Smashing Pumpkins, Kanye West, Sheryl Crow and Madonna.
So, if you don’t have your tickets, you better tune in on July 7th starting at 4am (yes! 4am!) to catch the show!
