Fight Junk Mail with Greendimes
Greendimes is a new program whose purpose is to combat the evils of junk mail.
For $36.00 a year, they will plant a tree for you every month you are on the plan through great organizations like American Forests, Sustainable Harvest International and Trees for the Future. They also let you pick the catalogs you want to come to your house via junk mail and stop the rest.If a signature is needed to get off the list, they send you you a pre-stamped, pre-printed (on recycled paper of course) post card to sign.
It’s a great compromise than the “NO JUNK MAIL” stickers, then hearing about a sale at your favorite store and feeling wistful.
It’s also a pretty neat gift idea for that person in your life who never stops complaining about the junk mail they always get!
