Leftover coffee grounds used in printers

by David Allen on Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

Could it be possible that those used coffee grounds out of the machine could be used as a sustainable source of printer ink? It is entirely possible that it could in the future, as this is just one of the top fifty entries for the Greener Gadgets Competition.

The RITI printer take the used coffee from the machine and refills the ink cartridge, this is a great use of a product that is totally sustainable, the only thing about this that could be a problem is the colour of the ink, is it going to be coffee coloured?
