Making new furniture from old

Its amazing how we get tired of some of the furniture that we have at home, sometimes it just gets dated, while occasionally the item make break of get damaged, in which case this would nearly always end up in the trash and onto the landfill.

But what if sometimes this old furniture could be recycled into something useful, yes it may take some work and time to get it into a usable piece, but the end result can be spectacular and most of all you get a nice piece of solid furniture at a nice price, almost free!

  • Quite often you will find yourself bonded with your old furnitures that will make it difficult to throw away. If the core wood used is good enough you can always recycle those. Antique furnitures gets valuable when it ages.
