Tear Drop Shaped Tree Tents
This original concept came about to support those activists who staged tree sittings to save wooded areas and forests from being developed. But now the designer Dre Wapenaar from Holland has created these tree tents for the use of everyone and they look very good too.
The tents are made with a steel frame that has been wrapped in canvas, inside there is a width of nine feet, which has been fitted out with a wooden sleeping area housing a round mattress, and the maker claims that there is enough room for two adults and two children. How that works is anyone’s guess!
They are quite nice to look at though there is a sense of futuristic design there where people no longer live in cities. The images are from an actual camping site in Holland where they are available to rent for vacations etc.
