Danku Opens in New York

Food and the place you may eat at will always carry that eco-friendly tag. In fact, aside from the setup, Danku, the American beachhead of a nascent Dutch chain that tosses around terms like “organic” and “recycled” as if performing a Big Mac exorcism. Danku is set to open in New York and offer the Indonesian specialties made famous via three and a half centuries of Dutch Colonialism.

the former Golden Arches have been rendered eco-friendly with recycled composite wood, low-energy appliances, and a compost-and-recycling station front and center.

So if you are in New York and want to try out something eco-friendly and different, drop by Danku and get your money’s worth.
