E-CycleMe.com, NEW Computer Recycler in Asheville, NC

by Missy on Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

It is getting quite common to see computer dealers partner up with local recyclers and opening up accessible recycling centers.

In Asheville, NC a new recycler by the name of e-cycleme.com has been created to help local residents recycle their computers, tv’s, and other electronics.

Charlotte Street Computers, working with the Eblen Foundation and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, opened the nonprofit about four months ago and will take your old computer, refurbish it and give it away to students and others in need.

The non-profit will take your used computer, tv, or other electronic and turn around and donate it to needy students in the community. So if you live in or near Ashville, now you know where to dump that used monitor that has been sitting in your basement for the last 5 years.

Not entirely true. They only accept computer related electronics. No TVs.
