Green Grooved Tires for Eco-friendliness

by Brian Yalung on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

For fans of the races such as the F1 or Grand Prix, chances are you may be wondering how they can burn those fuel and tires and not be concerned with trying to do their part for the green efforts. Apparently, Japan has taken the initiative by campaigning a green tire campaign, starting with green grooved tires at the Japanese Grand Prix.

Pollution and alternative energy are likewise in focus and for the car racing lovers, the need to identify the impact of motoring on the environment is a need. So as far as the Japanese are concerned, this may help signal global eco-friendly efforts to perhaps make people aware that racers also recognize the need to go eco-friendly and contribute to the whole green efforts.
