Heather Mills Wants To Join PETA (In Fur-Free Campaign)
PETA (the people for the ethical treatment of animals), sponsors an ad campaign annually, which creates awareness of fur and its accompanying cruelty.
Basically they contract with various popular celebrities to sport their birthday suits, and then help promote not using or wearing fur. The fur trade is awfully cruel and animals are usually electrocuted for their hides, and their skins. It is a barbaric trade.
Paul McCartney’s ex wife, Heather Mills has declared that she wants to don a birthday suit, a/k/a go naked, and join in on this years “go fur-free” campaign. Word is that PETA has not invited her, nor is she very well received in the press.
So this most likely will not take place, but the good news, is that Heather Mills in her own clunky way, is bringing the issue of fur to the forefront. This is always good news. The more it gets out on how cruel the FUR INDUSTRY is, the better.
