New Schwinn Electric Bike Recharges In 30 Minutes

by Missy on Thursday, January 15th, 2009

Even though we are in the middle of Winter, what better time to think of and maybe acquire an electric bicycle that shows great promise for an eco friendly Summer.

The new Schwinn electric bike which premiered at the recent CES show in Las Vegas features some pretty neat green credentials. It is powered by a Toshiba super charge ion battery and boasts an impressive recharge time of just about 30 minutes.

The electric bike from Schwinn will give you an estimated 25-30 miles per full charge and a top speed of 15 mph. And it has a nice looking design as well. For more details head on over to the Gifts.com site.

  • Wow what a great bike this one is really. i am very much impressed.
  • I do wish that the recharge comprised of peddling though. Would be nice to be self sufficient and not have to use up electricity to charge up.
