It truly could not have come at a better time. I am currently working with a coalition that is hoping to have a very important energy bill passed. The problem is that some people are trying to ahve the standards lowered (currently the bill calls for 35 mpg fuel economy on all cars and trucks by 2020 and 15% renewable electricity by the same date). It is key that these standards do no get lowered so that they can have the most positive impact on our environmental future. Please help out by spreading the word about the petition to convince Congress to not change these standards!
