Wal Mart gives $1.5 million for green studies

The university of Arkansas has been given a massive $1.5 million donation from super store giant Wal Mart. The research is to be in the field of how these large and in fact all retailers can reduce the amount of green house gases and at the same time become more eco friendly in the process.

This is the largest donation that the university has been given for research in the field of green issues and in particular sustainability.

The most important part of this study and what the researchers will be tackling first of all will be transport and the amounts of carbon needed in order to bring us the products that we want at the prices we want to pay.
