Checking Out The Air That You Breathe

by David Allen on Friday, March 6th, 2009

Because we cannot always see air, it is difficult to know exactly what we are breathing in. Obviously we can see smoke and fumes, but there are some very unpleasant gases and chemicals around that are invisible.

Air Scale is a tool that can be used to check the air quality. It lets the user know if there are any problems by changing colour; green is clean, blue is ok and red means dirty or run like hell. It is a good idea but can be a little frightening if you are sitting in car stuck in traffic and the Air Scale is red!

Something tells me this product has the potential to turn a lot of unassuming people into obsessive and neurotic air purists. It also has the potential to scare the bejeasous out of anyone taking it for a spin on a normal day out.
