The Mattel Apology on China Toy Recalls
This has been something that has long been overdue. The toy recalls of all China made products because of the much celebrated “lead paint” issue, has spread like wildfire over the world and has tarnished the reputation of the leading manufacturer of Mattel toys as well.
Apparently, there were glitches and misunderstandings that occurred along the way and a lot of these can be traced towards the quality and safety control of the popular toy manufacturer. While the apology and explanation was indeed given, the damage has been done.
