Fireworks Pollution

It has been normal practice for people to use fireworks to welcome the usher in of the New Year. However, while fireworks are expected to be awesome and a traditional way, it has likewise been usual to expect fireworks smoke after all of them have lit.

We all know that pollution has been a problem besetting us and fireworks are one of the contributing factors that have become an add-on to the problem. Local authorities in countries like the Philippines which uphold this tradition have made various steps to inform and discourage people from using fireworks. Outside that of being a global concern, fireworks can also become an issue when it comes to health problems like inhaling their fumes and physical dangers such as burns.

(Source) Firework smoke consists primarily of particulate matter that can aggravate health conditions such as asthma, emphysema, and chronic bronchitis. If you suffer from one of these lung conditions you may want to take certain precautionary measures.
