Check Your Plants With Twitter

by Missy on Monday, April 6th, 2009

If you’re starting a garden this year as part of the Grow a garden, not a lawn idea. How cool would it be if you could check the water levels of your veggies and plants via Twitter? Yes, Twitter.

Well now you can via a kit that enables you to insert a small electronic gadget into the plant pot. This gizmo will send you a tweet when the water level is low or when the plant is in need of moisture.

This is a fantastic idea and quite useful for both rural and urban dwellers. The kit which goes by the name of Botanicalls – retails for about $99 and comes complete with everything you need to make sure your plants stay alive. Twitter to the rescue!
