Even though recent major festivities are behind us such as Christmas and New Years, you might possibly have a birthday coming up, a wedding anniversary or other similar party type event.
If so, and you love some bling bling and glitter to go with your shenanigans, consider the DIY idea fashioned by a crafty blogger who makes her own at home. But she does it, the natural way – using various flowers.
These flowers specifically: Red Bottlebrush, Cadaghi and Lilly Pilly
You might not have these specific flowers in (your) backyard, but you might be able to score some via a local forest preserve or maybe a nature trail. If you do, you would then simply do as our crafty blogger did and cut out the leaves or glittery part…of the flower and place in a tin jar.
When your party event comes around, you can use this as an alternative to plastic based store bought glitter. How simple, inexpensive and awesome.
