The Hug Rug Wins Award
A UK based family business has picked up an award for their eco friendly rug, named the Hug Rug. Phoenox Textiles Ltd have been making rugs for over fifty years, but recently changed strategies to use recycled materials such as tyres, plastic bottles and tops.
The Hug Rug won the category for home and gift innovation at Glee 2008 at Birmingham’s NEC, for the innovation with their manufacturing of these rugs.
