Prince Charles Launches Green Car Rally
Prince Charles loves being green lately! In honor of World Environment Day (today!), the Prince test drove four new green proto-type vehicles around London’s Hampton Court Palace for a very green photo-op.
Charles revved the engine of a Honda Civic Hybrid, a Saab Bio-power 9-3 convertible, a 7 Series BMW Hydrogen 7 and silver Ford Focus Cell, all which are part of the 20 cars involved in the Brighton-to-London Eco Car rally.
He did so in order to bring attention to the Eco Car rally, which is today (World Environment Day!).
The rally will end in Trafalgar Square, where the eco-cars involved in the race will be on display as part of London’s World Environment Day festivities!
