Fair Trade, Organic Sneakers Hit the Market
Veja shoes are a line of shoe that is produced in Brazil, using organic cotton, Amazonian rubber and chrome-free, organically tanned leather. Veja is a French company that is dedicated to being a socially responsible and environmentally friendly business and it shows in the quality of their products.
They’ve had organic, free-trade shoes before, but that was back before this website didn’t exist!
While the company may be French, we in North America can find them in the fashion hot-spots New York, Montreal and Los Angeles.
I’d suggest heading over to their website, but it is in French. Instead, hit up the TreeHugger site, where they have featured and evaluated Veja shoes a couple times!
