Figaro to Market Arabica Coffee in Europe

The Benguet State University in the Philippines finally obtained certification from the International Marketecology (IMO) for its organic Arabica coffee production is now considered the first organic coffee provider. IMO is the agency responsible for ensuring the quality of environmentally friendly products, organic agriculture and management systems.
Figaro, a popular name in the coffee industry shall be responsible for marketing the organically produced coffee to Europe. This development has also served as a good sign to encourage other coffee manufacturers in the Philippine province considering the demand for organically produced products such as coffee will certainly be high on demand.
Farmers in Benguet and in the region are being encouraged to engage in Arabica coffee production because of its economic viability. A kilo of the raw coffee bean is sold at P70 to P180 in the local markets.
