The Rising Demand Organic Fashion and Clothing

Take it from someone who loves to check out and get into fashion, Canadian-born model Shalom Harlow knows what it takes and the opportunities that lie ahead as far as pushing organic fashion towards new heights. The demands are there and people are turning towards the new phase of organic clothing today.
Apparently, this stems from the fact as well that people are starting to become more aware of the environment and finding ways on how to contribute to the green cause. Clothing and apparel fashion is one of them and rather than patronizing the harmful clothes that others have manufactured before, green fashion trends are sure to provide something more for them.
“The establishment has to catch up,” Harlow said after checking out the 2008 fall/winter collection for John Patrick ORGANIC. “It’s really about time fashion started looking at its cause and effect on the planet. There’s no need to compromise anymore … you can be fashionable and responsible.”
“Concern for the environment is growing and it’s only natural that the concern would cross over into what we wear,” says Jeanie Pyun, editor of the environmental website sprig.com. “Fashion and home design are the most popular on the site because it’s what’s happening now.”
