When it comes to transporting water, one would normally find the need to turn to the hard plastic containers, something which everyone knows contribute largely to the waste problems they carry. But with the Greif WaterWear backpack, a new sustainable way to transport water where needed may yet pose another solution towards resolving the plastic-made mess issues.
This is a backpack carrying solution, an ecological and ergonomical way of transporting water. They are also smaller, meaning they take up less space for more containers to store when shipping time comes compared to traditional water jugs.
BackthePack’s launch goal is to reach 100,000 packs sold between March 22 and September 3, 2012, to which they have currently sold over 15,000 packs. Donations can be made on the movement’s website, with a $10 contribution equivalent to one pack.
