It is no secret that the plastic bottles used to hold our favorite drinks and sodas have their share of harming the environment but with some tweaks, they could be a whole lot more friendlier. Designer Andrew Kim unravels a neat concept for revolutionizing the bottled beverages all the way to the cap.
Kim makes the caps 25% slimmer which should decrease the reliance on plastic while the bottle as a whole would come in a collapsible design that makes them easy to crush and bring down their carbon footprints.
The bottles will be shaped in a rectangular shape which should save on space and make the easier to transport too. Though a concept for now, the idea of turning the usual cylindrical bottles into square ones does seem interesting don’t you think?
