Airwave Concept Pollution Mask
We all know that China is in quite a bind with the pollution problem plaguing the country, an issue that may even worsen as seen by many. Frog Design offers a concept mask which could protect the innocent breathing folks with its Airwave mask.
The concept mask features particle sensors which allows users to actually view the air they are breathing through their smartphones. The app that makes this all possible also allows users to share the said data to neighbourhoods or nearby cities, an indicator or guide perhaps to let folks know the real score of the pollution problem plaguing their area.
The mask is still a concept and it seems that some details are being ironed out. This includes issues like battery life, Bluetooth connectivity and actual design. It makes you think if they considered using Bane’s (from Dark Knight) mask eh?
Hopefully the issues are ironed out soon since this is one mask that will surely come in handy.
