What is a Carbon Footprint?

Carbon Footprint

We all hear it but are we really into it when we talk about knowing what carbon fooprints really are? Apparently, we all just get in with the times and try to mix in whenever it is mentioned but understanding what it really is should be something worth tackling.

The funny thing about it is that while we claim to understand it, it holds true that we are doing the invisible necessities in allowing it to grow.

CarbonFootprint.com describes it as “a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide.”

With that we can see that there is more to understanding what carbon footprint really is. In fact we never know if we are currently contributing towards its imminent growth thanks to our lack of knowledge on what carbon footprints really are.
