Global Warming Affecting Bird Migration

The International Business Times published an article that looked at how the warming weather is causing a shift in when and how birds migrate.

“‘Species that adapted to changes over millennia are now being asked to make those adaptations extremely quickly because of the swift rise in temperatures,” Robert Hepworth, the executive secretary of the Convention on Migratory Species stated. “‘We don’t know how many will survive. We will lose species.”‘

Wow. And I thought I had it bad, having to deal with this extremely warm May temperatures.
