Skiing in the Alps

Just when you thought that skiing would help you cool off your heels in places like Aspen and Canada, it seems that you are bound to dress less considering that global warming has had its way of making cold weather look bad. Even with the usually looking cold snow we see often, it seems that the weather has indeed played a vital cog in making skiing in the Alps something to think twice these days.

But just the same, when you go out skiing, dress up just in case. All of us have our own level of withstanding the heat and for some, the cold climate can be of varied preferences depending on how we feel like it.

(Source) Global warming’s threat to some of alpine skiing’s renowned races – and what can be done to remedy the problem – has become a hot topic among the sport’s elite.

“Our sport is changing. It is not winter wonderland everywhere,” says Canadian ski veteran Emily Brydon. “Last year everywhere in Europe we raced it was white down the middle and then green and brown on either side”.
