Here is another potential solution as far as addressing the carbon dioxide issues, at least in the future. The Bloom is a futuristic and semi-submersible farm that is tasked to grow certain microscopic marine organisms known as phytoplankton.
Apparently, the said organisms would be tasked to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere while also monitoring rising sea levels. Additionally, the Bloom will filter salt water and monitor potential tsunami threats. Quite a bunch of features that should come in handy some day.
The Bloom was designed by Sitbon Architects of London, a floating farm which should really be something to look out for.
