Turning garbage into something useful is nothing new but when you talk about a home staying afloat over a heap of trash will surely capture your curiosity. Rishi Sowa has been reportedly living on garbage for over 10 years now but it seems his ingenuity has led into an idealistic way of putting trash to work en route to this eco-paradise called Joysxee.
The eco-paradise island can be seen in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, supported by thousands of plastic bottles which has been known to be a controversial contributor to the growing waste problem. Aside from plastic bottles, Joysxee also thrives on discarded wood and planted vegetation for support. The Joysxee hope to serve as a model of sorts on how people can make do with discarded resources and turn them into an ideal living space to be more eco-friendly.
