ATP EarthDrive - Recyclable and Biodegradable USB Drive

I don’t know of too many geeks who are looking for a biodegradable USB drive. But i do know quite a few who seek to lessen their carbon footprint and like to support the green movement whenever and however they can.

The ATP Earthdrive is a fairly new flash drive that is both biodegradable and recycable. The small drive is made using a plastic material derived from corn and is meant to decompose sooner than the traditional USB drives. Also some of the components used are recycled parts and if all that weren’t enough, ATP has a partnership with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to plant trees from the proceeds of each sale.

For a fantastic and quite thorough review on the ATP Earthdrive, let me refer you to Test Freaks. They cover the green-ness factor of the USB drive along with performance, size, and more. Everything you would want to know about the 8Gb drive.
