Book Crossing Finds A New Home For Your Read Books

After reading the article at The Daily Green entitled 10 Helpful Ways To Recycle Used Books, i found Book Crossing.

This is a really neat concept, basically the premise is you release your used books into the wild, and the books are tracked through a series of codes you put in it. Then others who find it, will share on the find via the BC website.

There are load of members from all countries. In fact the current count is over 700,000 members and more than 5,000,000 books registered. Lots and lots of books available for free from other book loving members. I ran a quick search, and typed in the state of Missisissipi and found a handful of members, plus a few books  recently released.

There is a community forum and social networking aspects built in the Book Crossing website, all the more avenues to discuss books with others that are like minded. Pay the site a visit, and let me know what you think.
