Made in Germany in small family run shops that receive fair wages and treatment, the recycled firehose bags company idea is the brainchild of two German brothers, one a textile engineer and another a marketing dynamo.
All the bags are made from firehoses which were on active duty in a fire department and are no longer fitting enough for duty, but great as a fashion piece.
The brand is known as Feuewear and most of the bags are either red or white, as this is the color of the traditional firehoses in Germany. They’re all handmade and undergo a thorough cleaning process, prior to being cut up and sewn into one-of-a-kind (and cute) recycled bags.
