Eco-Friendly Rain BarrelZ Water Recovery Kits

by Brian Yalung on Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

Water is an important resource that is slowly dilapidating these days and some people turning to containers known as rain barrels to make use of reliable rainwater for other uses. Practices such as using rainwater to water the plants need the aid of containers and that is precisely what BarrelZ intends to do.

“We need to provide quality recycled products at or below the same cost as the original and with over 800 milk jugs going into each Rain BarrelZ®, we can all do our part to protect the environment” said Mark Gasbarro, president of F&M Tool and Plastics.

  • That's a simple and useful idea. I've always wondered why we do not use rain for car washing, watering plants and in everything else where clean water is simply not needed.
  • Rainbarrels are by far one of the best ways to conserve water outside. Not only is washing your car with rainwater a great way to conserve....if you wash the car on your lawn, and use a green soap, you can water your lawn with the water that flows off the car!
